Was this for me? most of her poops are the standard yeasty yellow and white and pretty tiny, at night (usually after we get something into the crop) she tends to also have some dark slug looking blobs on top of the white yeast stuff. I don’t know whether to see this as a positive thing (like some older stuff coming out of the crop?) or just her digesting the limited nutrients she has been able to get. If you have any guidance on how to tell by the poops if things are improving that would be a huge help. I have a post up in the emergencies forum that has pictures and a full description of my situation and treatmentWHat does her poop look like? Can you post a picture of it?
I have some here in my other BYC post—too https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/need-guidance-on-treatment-for-sour-crop.1670086/ but here are some. I totally missed the file attach button on the comment, didn’t know i could do that! This is from after getting a tube feeding of the water and nutridrench midday and a tube of egg yolk, probiotic and monistat in the evening. They are mainly yeasty with some very dark blobs.Yes, it was for you. Can you post some pictures of the poop?
