Go to first unread post - missing?

When reading the threads I am following, there used to be a link at the top of the page that said "go to first unread post". That is no longer there.

Usually when I click on the alert for that thread it automatically takes you to where you left off and that link isn't needed, but seems to not be doing that either.

1. computer
   
2. windows 7 home premium
   
3. chrome Version 64.0.3282.167 (Official Build) (64-bit)
4. internet cache / browser history cleared
5. Have you tried a different browser? no
6. opened link from alerts
7. no error message

I just randomly clicked on a few of my watched threads to see if I was missing this option.
I am not.

I believe this only shows if you have currently unrread posts in that thread.
