Goat bloating

I only feed my goats grain every other day ( they still get hay everyday). They won’t eat the lick to help with bloating. How to I keep them from bloating

I bought it awhile back. Don’t remember the name. It’s in a blue 2 gallon bucket and it’s red.

anyway! feed some baking soda! it helps with goat bloat, but just in case, can i see a pic of the goat?

Gas X is the best treatment for bloat I have ever found, and believe me, I think I have tried them all. It is a lot safer and more effective than the usual treatment with oil. One cause of bloat is enterotoxemia. Make sure your goats have been vaccinated with CD/T. That is for tetanus and clostridium perfingens (Entero).

You can offer free choice baking soda to help with bloating. They’ll eat as much as they need so don’t worry about dosage.
Not sure if this is for preventative or treatment though.

Baking soda will help prevent bloat, but I don't think it is an effective treatment.
