Goat getting ready to kid? Help?

If it looks like two basketballs inside her she's preggers lol. If I remember correctly when our goat had kids she had that discharge for a week or two before birthing. I wouldn't be to worried about it, ours made a buncha noise when she was about to birth too lol so that could be a good indicator

And some goats are silent when they give birth, even when in hard labor. It depends on the individual goat.

Okay you guys! This morning when I ran my hand down her spine to check her ligaments it felt different. Like the ligaments suck down some. Looking at her, it seems to me her back end appears more rounded... if that makes sense...
I am hoping these are more signs her time is getting closer!

I was so excited, I ran all the way around the house to breathlessly tell my husband. Who probably thinks I've become an obsessive nut over these goats. Although he did comment that she looks much bigger than when we got her only 2 months ago.

I have her back in the garden area next to my house with her own private shelter full of new, clean straw. Kidding kit ready. Now if only goats came with a clock!

Any udder development?

No changes there yet... This morning I am worried about this arrangement. Last night it was icy and our buck goat was calling and calling. Really loud. I made sure he was okay. He has an older doe keeping him company, but he didn't care.
He misses this goat. She seems lonely too. I keep giving her treats and extra attention, but I don't think anyone is happy right now.

To make that all more stressful- I felt around her tail this morning and it seemed less soft. Could it be from the cold?
Could it be that I am just too new to this and have no clue what I'm doing?

I don't want any of them to be stressed out or miserable. Should I put them all back together until I see more signs?
I would hate for her to give birth with him around though...
I just am not sure what to do.

I think we are getting closer!!! I just had to post here because you guys are probably the only people who can understand getting excited about streaming mucus.
I noticed a thicker mucous and pointed it out to my DH. He also thinks she looks more sloped.
Her udder is hard to see, but looks more rosy colored than before.

Then maybe an hour later I noticed more mucus.

Should I be brewing coffee to stay up and keep an eye on her?

^ this is me right now

this is what I'm seeing. I hope *I hope* this means she is close. Christmas goats! That would be so cool!!!!

No babies yet. Her mucous is not apparent any more. The vigil continues....

Thanks for the tip about watching for color change.

There is a fairly strong chance she won't kid until she at least develops some of an udder. There are always exceptions to that rule, but that's one thing you can look for.

OMG. You guys. Still no babies. She has mucous on and off. Her tendons feel lower and softer than my other doe's.... but nothing else.
I thought maaaaaaybe her udder is showing a bit more, but I might also just be seeing what I want to because waiting is slowly driving me nuts!

Is it possible she might not be pregnant, and has some sort of problem going on causing her to be drippy back there?
Today's backside

She does look kinda round... but then again she has been getting extra pellets, black oil sunflower seeds, and alfalfa hay.
I also have a young alpine who is staying in the yard with her so she won't feel all alone who is enjoying the extra feed as well.
My husband does not believe she is pregnant at all.
