We have three pygmies. 2 males and a pregnant female. I built a good pen around 39 feet by 30 feet. Put a lean to tin roof and closed in three sides to shelter from the weather. A hand full of hay and some feed in the morning and evening and they are getting too fat, lol. They have been no trouble, not real expensive to feed, although they are much pickier eaters than I thought. They don't eat anything. They love weeds and briars but won't eat grass. We have collars on them and tie them out in the pasture when possible other than that they stay in thier pen and climb on the platform we made them, they are very playful. I probably have two hundred dollars in the pen and cover, they eat a 25 lb bag of feed every two weeks so it's really not bad. If you have an e-mail I'll send you some pics of them. All in all we love them!
