Going to try hatching emus again!!

I use an incuview and take the turning tray out. Will hold 3 to 4 emu eggs this way. I’ll take a pic of them in the incubator tomorrow.

Ok so got the incubator ready to go and weighed the eggs. We have egg AA that weighed in at 633.5g. Egg BB weighed in at 636. Let the wait begin!

Well heck, now I think I'm gonna do some more too. I had been thinking about hatching some to sell but was too worried I wouldn't want to let them go. I think I'll just make people pre-order the chicks and take deposits so I'm not tempted.

I was gonna do pre order but I fear that if we don’t get a good hatch rate, people will be left hanging after 50 days, lol. You should hatch again. I know you loved the thrill of waiting it out til they either tilted or wiggled.

I did! And then when you finally see that first sign of life, it's so exciting.

Y’all have me wanting an emu now I think I’d be scared of it, but not long after I see that sweet innocent baby face of theirs

But I don’t think I’d be able to suit their needs - enclosure-wise

Anyways, I love watching along!
