Ok so got the incubator ready to go and weighed the eggs. We have egg AA that weighed in at 633.5g. Egg BB weighed in at 636. Let the wait begin!

Eggs had their first weigh and BB lost 4.5 while AA lost 5. A tad high so we increased the humidity a little as it’s been hovering around 31%. Our next weigh will be Saturday evening.

Weight loss is looking good for the past two days. We are almost right on track.

I’m gonna start doing weekly weights now that we seem to almost have the eggs on track. We weighed them today and broke down the total weight they should lose to hit the ideal 15% weight loss, into weekly weight losses. So they should lose around 13.3g a week. AA being slightly under that and BB being a hair over. AA is on track at 13.1g in a week. BB needs adjustments because it lost 14.7 which is quite high. So because AA is dead on, I don’t want to mess with humidity so I am gonna put some tape on BB to reduce surface area in which it can lose weigh thru the pores in the shell. Will post results next Tuesday and hopefully BB will lose a bit less.
