I don't know what the SOP calls for, but for what its worth...I like the dark imports better than the Greenfire pullet.

Dee here are a couple pics of our UK pullets and one from Greenfire. The ones we imported are a darker gold than the others. What do you think of the darker GL's / lacing? I really like the darker lacing, but not sure if it is the correct color

Nellie, that chestnut is what Vickie has told me to look for in the ground color. Her type is nice, I might add. And her skirt is BLACK! Very nice. The ground color is not even and that dreaded shafting is present

. But, I would rather start with her than with the blonde ones you see more often. Oddly enough, the blonde one that I have is Marc's girl, not GF girls.

I'll take her!
