We're new to this and our 6 month old Gold Laced Wyandotte has had this one feather hanging off her booty for like 5 days now. It's been driving my daughter and I crazy and she's kind of a sketchy girl, doesn't really like to be handled at all. So tonight, we distracted her with treats and my daughter got ahold of her and we got a good look at the feather. It comes out of the very fine fluffy, downy feathers and it seems like it's kind of spiraled around in the little feathers but it seems like it is still attached. I also noticed two others that are much smaller and in different places.
Is this anything I should be concerned about....?

sounds like just a few silly feathers, unless its blocking her vent, or causing any problems it should be fine. Make sure shes being fed good food and its not a nutrient thing.
Its best to send photos with this type of question, words don't always describe as needed.

Yes ... After the fact, I realized I should've taken some pics but we thought we were just going to pull out a loose feather. And catching her is an ordeal and something she does not appreciate. She is being fed very well so I guess it's just a few silly feathers, as you say. Today I noticed one of my Easter Eggers might have a couple funky feathers too. The weather here has really started to change, so maybe that's got something to do with it.
