He's beautiful! If I could, I've have a yard full of large fowl cochins, they're just so pretty.
I do think he's on the younger side, maybe 6-7 months or thereabouts. Some birds crow all day long, some are more polite. Cochins are known for being pretty docile birds so he may make you a very nice keeper.
