Hey everyone,

Do any of you on this forum own any golden campine chickens?

I have a adult 1.5-2 year old golden campine rooster and I just got 3 golden campine pullets I think there around 11 or 12 weeks old.

I was just wondering what will there eggs be like when they start laying? Are they good?

I'm thinking about getting a incubator and hatching some eggs when they start laying and selling the chicks. I'm going to butcher the extra cockerels I can't sell.

Have any of you ate a golden campine? Are they good? How much meat did you get?

I haven't had any experience with this breed nor have I ever heard of it. Where did you get your original stock from?

Campines are what were known as the "Everyday Layer". There was a time when our humble Campines were expected to displace the White Leghorn as a commercial white egg layer.
