I have only 1 Golden Comet hen in my mixed flock and her name is Duckie.
She is insanely funny and lays big beautiful eggs!
She is very curious and is always into everything!
We love her!

Haha,yep cranky for sure! I still can't believe it ether!and after all she's been in!shes been worse since her sister died In January.oh! Her birthday is tomarrow and she'll be 7 for real!

She celebrated her birth day by chasing brownie as soon as I let them out ha!poor miss blackie has a sore on her head,I think it's from Bea she seems fine anyways,do you know how to get her to stop being mean to the rest of the chickens?

I mad be a cake with mud meal worm sun flower seeds lettuce and dandielions she and the kids (the rest of the chickens)and the ducks loved it I'll post some pics later

Well, just make sure shes getting plenty of protein like scramble her some eggs or something if she's low because lack of protein can cause her to pick at the other chickens. Or if she is just being overly aggressive and mean you can buy a contraction called Pinless Peepers and they are kind of like those things they put on driving horses. They don't allow the chicken to see what is right in front of them they can only see out the sides. Supposedly they can still eat fine. If you have extra space you could try separating her.

Yeah,that does sound pretty extreme,but she can beat other hens blody life or death.
