Hatching eggs- one of lifes little miracles!

These are quality birds with exceptional health and vigor. We are TPIP certified. My chickens are well cared for with clean housing and an excellent diet. Many BYCers have been to the farm and each one has been impressed with our flocks and our farm. We have carefully bred and raised them for several years. We currently have quality roosters over some very nice hens. Hach rates have been very good. We appreciate them for their use as both egg layers and meat birds. They are quiet and gentle and Our Golden Cuckoo Roo Cogburn is the farm mascott and greets visitors.

For more information about our chickens and our farm visit us at www.nonesuchfarm.net

Your can have up to 18 eggs for one shipping price of $15. Eggs are $45 for 18, $30 for 12 and $20 for 6. If you are sure you want them at this price just PM...no need to bid! We also raise Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas, Salmon/ Blue Salmon Faverolles and Black Copper Marans and eggs can be combined any way that you would like if they are available.

Some of the Golden Cuckoo Flock. Chicks are very pretty and can be sexed at hatch.

I haven't quite figured out how to leave feedback in the feedback section, yet, but I will say here that I have some of Melissa's eggs in my incubator right now. They came nice and clean and very securely packed with none broken or cracked. If I didn't have both incubators filled I would be ordering these eggs. Bid with confidence

I don't know who your are but I never got a PM from this name and I don't think I had an order from you... can you please PM me your real name so I can check my emails, paypal reciepts and delivery conformations??

I have Flgardengirl next on my list and have been putting her off as the laying is slow... but I don't think I have missed anyone.

Thanks,

Melissa

I just got my eggs, 6 Ameraucanas and 6 Golden Cuckoo Marans. I am looking forward to the Goldens and how they will turn out compared to Wheatens.

The eggs in the post are very much darker than the eggs I received though. I would place them no higher than a 4 on the Marans chart. I have Black Copper Marans from Jesse Bryant and even after 6 months of laying I am getting 2 shades darker on those than the Goldens eggs shipped.

I am not worried about the egg color because I purchased these more for the beauty of the chicken, though the eggs are darker than a standard brown egg layer and that's a plus.

I am making a blue egg coop and a dark brown egg coop, Specifically Ameraucanas in one and Marans in the other. I am still looking for stunning blue eggs, and keep buying more and more eggs to get that accomplished.

I would place these Ameraucana eggs on the scale as average. They are not a beautiful rich blue/green or blue but have the blue character though two of the six were near white.

I hope this helps if you decide to buy these eggs.

You will probably get great chickens from the eggs, the eggs themselves are average.

I don't think golden cuckoo eggs are usually as dark as say black copper eggs. They are more in the range of regular cuckoo marans eggs which are about a 4 or so. Most marans eggs are darker at the beginning of the laying cycle and decrease as time goes on. I got some BCM eggs from Melissa about 3 mos ago and they were really dark. Hatched out some really nice babies too.
