Golden Duckwing Game breeding

I have a golden duckwing cockrel. Well do golden duckwings breed straight across or do you need two different varieties in order to create one. I think you need a silver and red phoenix to make a golden phoenix so this is why I am asking. Thanks.

the Golden males carry one copy of Gold and one copy of Silver.. You can make them fairly easily but still needs to be done in 2 generations, and will not breed true.
the process:
Silver duckwing male x BB red hen. then F1xF1, then you are started.
The F1 pullets will all look to be Silver Duckwing, since the male was silver Duckwing, the males in teh first generation will be very light yellowish color to hackle and saddle, wing bow and bay. when breed back to thier sisters this will help enhance the gold color. You will have better luck using silver duckwing appearing pullets breed form BB red hens since it is the additional genes that enhance the gold to red that you need to get the color better in teh males.
