Had a 100% hatch reported today!! Just awesome!! I hate to applaud myself, the chickens get all the credit.

Have you outcrossed these birds to a black line? Just curious as they look like they have chocolate dun in them, they are stunning.

How are their temperments? I've been around all types of gamefowl and I've never had Hulseys because the ones I've been exposed to were mean! Worse than a barred rock (to people)

Like I say in the listing, the most friendly gamefowl I've ever raised, they really are, havn't had a mean one yet. Some of the old Red type I've had had a bit of a temperment, but not these, very friendly (to ppl) not so much to other roosters..lol, nor the hens to dogs/cats if they're setting or have a brood. How about the cross, have you done any outcrossing with black fowl? I'm curious what color the chicks would come from a mating like that.

No I havn't ...done some with some greys, but no black, I don't really know, but does sound very interesting, might get some beauties, even performers, if crossed with good blood. It's almost unpredictable...IMO, I may try that, if I find some good blood..thanks!!

Awesome birds. Been trying to finds some pumpkins here in Ok but they are hard to come by. I have ordered hatching eggs with very little success(2 hatched 1died). Do you ever sellchicks? You got some of the best looking hulseys Ive seen so far.
