I'd agree, there are some beautiful Orps in Netherlands & Germany.
Many of the colours once found in Orps in Britain died out in the UK. Those colours are not in the British Standards.(or weren't when I moved away). Colours such as the red, jubilee, partridge etc. etc were re-introduced to UK relatively recently, from Germany, maybe Netherlands sometimee between 5 & 10 years ago. Around the same time the gold laced were introduced, I thought from Netherlands, but maybe Germany & elsewhere too. The lavenders were developed in UK, I think it was Patricia Middleton made those (but I may have misremembered) from a blue leghorn,. The mottleds, though available in Germany (& Netherlands?) were also re-created in UK shortly after.....(2004/05?). Many people were working on projects. I made some black mottled, blue mottled, blue partridge, silver pencilled, blue silver pencilled, buff cuckoo, in UK around that time. I've tried to make some colours again over here but it is not easy to find the 'right' birds with which to start.
