I’m going with pullet, I can’t clearly see if she’s got pointy saddle/hackle feathers, but I don’t see any sickle feathers. She also doesn’t have much of a comb, and she’s over twenty weeks old, isn’t she? I think you’ll be getting eggs soon!

It’s the tail that worries me- do the females hold it so high? In all but last photo crest I’d trimmed and some feathers held up in a rubber band so she can see. View attachment 3608226View attachment 3608227View attachment 3608228View attachment 3608229
I remember this tricky girl. She’s very beautifulView attachment 3743590
This crazy looking young chicken turned out to be a beautiful hen for anyone wondering about their own polish laced. She laid an egg yesterday! After 8 long months.

Yes indeed they were trickySo they both were female, just like they were supposed to be. Good for the seller, identifying them correctly!
But those pullets obviously confused quite a few people![]()
He/she is very talented at telling male or female!Yeah, those laced polish pullets have a lot of male-ish traits that make it pretty tricky. I will trust the seller going forward![]()
