Golden laced polish- pullet?roo?

I’m going with pullet, I can’t clearly see if she’s got pointy saddle/hackle feathers, but I don’t see any sickle feathers. She also doesn’t have much of a comb, and she’s over twenty weeks old, isn’t she? I think you’ll be getting eggs soon!

Oh she is a girl. No eggs yet but hopefully soon. Will post when she lays for the remaining doubters. The golden-laced polish seems to have some male-ish traits. She acts like a hen. Looks like one to me. No crowing, pale face, dainty feet compared to my other 2 hens. Flighty as can be but we are working on taming her.

In the first post of the thread you were asking about two Polish, and later you gave one away-- did you ever learn for sure whether that one was male or female?

That one was given away, but was told she also laid an egg in the last week!

So they both were female, just like they were supposed to be. Good for the seller, identifying them correctly!

But those pullets obviously confused quite a few people

Yes indeed they were tricky
