Aren't they just the messiest in the house! I just move a bunch a 6wk old chicks outside last weekend. Was so relieved to get them out of the house. Feed dust covers everything so fast.

I got my GLW from TSC a few days ago. This one is named Henry Jr., after one of the the first chickens in the house (SHE has now passed)

Im new to this site... Trying to figure out how to post pics so you can all help me sex our GLW... I have ten that are 7 weeks old now.... Im hoping im wrong cause it looks like I may have ended up with more roo's than hens......

I am pretty certain this 7 week old golden laced wyandotte is a rooster! I love this little boy!

Oh yeah it is. I have 3 grown dots.. and none of them got their combs until they were getting close to laying. He's gonna be a handsome boy!

I just got my first GLW at the NC Chickenstock today. Hoping it's a girl but I really won't know for a while.

YEAH!! I hope its a pullet too! I love my dotts. I just got 2 new chicks last week... NO, 2 weeks ago now. I shoved them under my silkie, as she had 2 eggs due to hatch. SO, now she has 2 golds, 2 silvers, 2 black silkies, 1 splash silkie and 1 blue silkie. She's quite the mama. AND I will have MORE DOTTES!
