Golden Sexlink Roo?

You have a lovely flock.
I agree, you seem to have a Leghorn cock. The Marans all look to be girls as labeled, so that's always good. :thumbsup
The Polish I have no idea on their gender; could probably get a good guess at a later date. And as for the Wyandotte, I think I will change my guess to pullet. I know they can be mis-sexed, and some places seem more notorious for mis-sexing theirs more than others, but probably 85 to 90% of the time, most places are right on their labeling/sexing.

Interestingly the Wyandotte (Golden-laced) has a single comb rather than a rose comb which happens fairly often with hatchery stock. I would say that it is a young pullet though.

Hey, you're right! On my phone, I didn't even notice that in the picture...on the computer, once you pointed it out, I can tell now, too. Perhaps it is a Golden Laced Orpington instead? It also doesn't have bright yellow legs, and Wyandottes seem to generally have them, right? But I don't know about the Orpingtons.

Either way butterfly if very sassy .I got better face picture because the waddles are what make me think boy. But a pullet is what I want. The Polish I'm hoping is a girl but I know they are tough to sex. I'm thinking the Polish is very small compared to other Polish chicks I've had but not sure if she's a banty or not

My SLW actually got waddles and a colored (it was actually purple, not red or yellow) comb at an earlier age, too, so that doesn't necessarily point towards cock. :)

Update on the Golden Sexlink - The more it grows the less it even looks like a sexlink. It's the little white fluff ball. The chicks it is next to are the wyandotte that is about a week older than it, and then the one on the right is the other Golden Sexlink that I bought at the same time as it. I expected a bit more of a roo look by a month old, but I'm not familiar with sexlinks. One of my friends suggested a kind of meat bird, but again - no idea. That sitting position is its favorite.

You know what, that very well might be a pullet after all. And I agree with you, it no longer strikes me as a male Red Sex Link, either. It seems awfully small...I dunno, perhaps it is a bantam, but probably not.. Maybe it's a White Leghorn?

I would have expected it to have been smaller than the others when it was first hatched/bought if it were a bantam. It was the same size as the other Golden Sexlinks at the start. I had two other White Leghorns and they were much bigger than this one. My one thought would be, if she had whatever killed my baby blue laced red wyandotte, could it have just stunted her growth instead of killing her? She's super sweet. Usually takes about three steps then plops herself down. She eats and drinks but isn't much of a jumper/flyer yet. Love her to death but would love to know what she is. She has 1 partially black wing feather and one partially black tail feather. I wish I remembered what all TS had in their bins when I got her other than the GSL, Cuckoo Marans, White Leghorns, and some bantams. I suppose the best way to know for sure is to wait and see what she grows into :)
