Do you know which hen laid each of those eggs?

Because trying to guess mothers based on chick color ranges from difficult to impossible.

Purely based on chick color, all three of those chicks could have come from a Delaware mother, maybe even all from the same father!
No I don’t know which hens laid which eggs. I know that the blue egg was laid by my Cochin X EE (those are the only hens I have that lay blue eggs) but that egg didn’t hatch yet. I’m expecting it to be mostly black with feathered feet. That’s how all the chicks look when they hatch out of my blue eggs.

In that case, the most I can tell you: the brown stripey chick, and the black chick, are not SONS of a Delaware mother (because a son of hers would be silver not gold/brown, and would have barring which makes a light spot on the head of black chicks.)
 
Get a good head picture, & post it. It's hard to tell from the originals.

I don’t know why but I have an obsession with chipmunk chicks. :love

I’m pretty sure she has feathered feet!
At least now I’ll be able to tell the two chipmunks apart!
