Good bushes to plant for chickens

Mine don't touch the rhododendrons. Not sure why they don't eat them, but they do use the bushes for shade and hiding.
Rhododendrons and hydrangea are not good for chickens. But your chickens seem to know what is and is not good for them. There are lists of plants that are not good for chickens and both are listed. We’re just designing our coop and they will have a run 12x 6’ and a yard 50x 25’ that they can free range in that will have netting over it to protect them from overhead predictors. But they will have lilacs and different flowers in the yard area. Can’t wait till they arrive next spring.
