I have close neighbors, so I make sure I at least have my nightgown on with the muckboots - but if I had a more rural setting, anything would go. The other night when I let the dogs out for the last time and did a "bed check" on the girls, I noticed that one was missing - everyone had been accounted for that morning, so I'm out in the yard in night gown and muckboots with a flashlight looking for my lost hen. (Fortunately I found her - was afraid I'd be digging a grave for her in my nightie.) Neighbors arrive home while I'm looking - they don't even bat an eye anymore when they see me doing such things, just wave and ask if everything is ok.

Funny story from this weekend - ran away to the mountains for a little R&R - I over indulged a bit with the vino, and one of my canine pals over indulged in food and treats so had digestive trouble that night, requiring that I walk him a couple of times in the middle of the night. Disoriented, drunk, dark, and I end up putting on my companion's jeans - inside out no less - can only imagine what I would have looked like to anyone who saw me

Nice to know there a plenty of people of the same mind on here. I too have gone out to the coop in nightgown, housecoat and sandals. I think at one time or another most of us have even it is just to do an emergency check of the premises.

Now I am getting jealous of you guys. My coop is too open to the road for me to be anything but fully clothed.
