What I wrote on their facebook and google map:
Prompt, courteous and great customer service. Didn't have enough birds for us so called us for substitution if it was okay. Got a Bresse instead of legbar. Ordered bunch of pullets and chicks. Chicks were very well packed with ample heat pad, still warm when we received it, and they had installed four little cups for feed. So they would have been okay even if the shipment was delayed by the post office. As for the mites in another comment, always quarantine your new birds no matter where you obtain your birds and check before releasing to their permanent "home". And lastly, we are working farm. Thanks Justin!
Additional comments:
starter birds (pullets just about ready to start laying) 5 were of the size I expected the rest were around 8wks of age. Beaks are not clipped but the pullets had not injured each other. Some hatchery will clip the beak of pullets prior to shipping. We can not have birds with clipped beak.
AND ALWAYS QUARANTINE your new arrival to make sure they are free of pests/disease and for them to get accustomed to their new environment.
