Good Incubators?

Get the Farm Innovators circulated air incubator and the auto turner of the same brand and you cant go wrong. I bought one one month ago and hatched my first set with 100% success. My second set are developing nicely. This is my first experience with incubators also. I think it is a great incubator.

CA Setting is apparently the difference between temp showing and actual temp inside the unit.
So when you get outside ambient temperature it can fluctuate, but I found I never touched that. Only the temp settings and the rotation.
I have my rotation on 90 minutes

Thanks !! I'll leave it alone

I put 120ml or warm water in the outer channel of the base every 2 days. I don't know if you manual told you exactly where to put the water or how much, cause mine didn't. I had to wing it :)
Us too - the manual is, well, unique.

Thanks for the water tip. We're thinking about drilling a hole and adding a grommet to take a watering hose & funnel so we can add water without opening the unit. This would also provide a second vent for airflow from bottom to top.

Our manual refers to a "air vent lever" which the machine doesn't even have.

Hey that's a great idea :) I might do the same, I put a tube on the end of a syringe and take it out every time.
I know what you mean about the manual lol Something got lost in translation I think lol maybe the lever was one of them :) lol

Can anyone suggest a large incubator that is good?
My best friend and I are thinking of going into business hatching chickens and turkeys :)
Prefer one that is easy to top up the water, accurate in temp and humidity etc
Any suggestions?

After going through a whole hatching season, I love my Brinsea and 2 Hovabator Genesis Incubators :)

Thanks for the info :) I am actually looking at designing one, with auto turn and all :) I have a rotisserie motor from an old spit that you can adjust the timer for slow cooked roasts.
Just have to fiddle with the timer to turn every 90minutes instead of slow turn :) Or do you think it would be a waste of my time and just go buy one already set up?
But I will seriously look into those two that you mentioned :) thank you
