Good layer and freindly breeds ?

Hey so I’m just curious, what’s a good laying breed that’s also nice and gentle and lives long healthy lives?
(Preferably fun colored too)

I’m currently raising silkies but they will be separated from the other breeds if we now get others.

I like Wyandottes and Orpingtons. They are both good layers, friendly, and come in many different colors. To help make sure you get healthy and long-lived birds, I'd buy from a breeder.

I would add Plymouth Rocks to that list. My White Rock is docile and has laid lots of beautiful pinky-brown large eggs for 8 years. I am sure I will be getting more Plymouth Rocks after she is gone.
