Hello everyone! I stumbled onto this forum from a recommendation in a chicken thread on ar15.com, of all places, and I'm happy to be here!
My wife and I have had 8 chickens for about a year now; 2 Barred Rocks, 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Buff Orpintons, and 2 Cinnamon Queens. We're averaging about 7 eggs per day now that it's warming up.
Last month we added 4 Starlight chicks to raise and then we added 3 little Ameraucanas and 1 Silver-Laced Wyondette, "Silvy."
Our coop and run is fine for the layers, but I'm going to need to expand it once these little chickies get bigger. Hoping to find some design ideas on this site. I built a mobile run for the Starlights this weekend and we're putting them next to the big girl run so everyone can begin getting used to one another.
