Good morning Darlene!!! Is it race day again? I just have a few errands to run today and other than that I think I will stay inside on this dreary day. But tonight we are going to go watch a UFC pay per view at a friend's house.

Mine chick brooder is out in the garage and my new puppies are in the sunroom so we could sleep in as long as we want, but DW had to get up for work and hit snooze on her alarm for so long that I finally just got up.

My alarm goes off at 3:50 a.m. every morning. Darn cows don't seem to want to take the weekend off.

I don't know how you people get your roosters to sleep so late if your beating them up. When it's nice out and I have the windows open I hear mine out there usually before 3:30 a.m.

I have two roosters and never hear them at all unless the door to my sunroom is open. Even then I have to strain to hear them.

Good morning everyone. We got to sleep in today till 7:15. Normally we are up by 5. However, the rooster was carrying on more than normal, I think he was waiting for his serving of leftover breakfast oatmeal, too bad for him though I made fried taters and eggs for breakfast. But now the frogs are singing from the rain last night and all are busy making tadpoles in the pond.
