Can you keep just a pair of peafowl, one hen and one cock, or do you need more? Just a hypothetical question, probably followed up by other hypothetical questions. I'm thinking about peacocks for my fantasy farm (hobby farm that I'd like to have one day, when I'm an adult) but I don't think that I'd like more than 3.

450sq ft would be better, the large coop is not really needed just one big enough to provide a windbreak and high roosts can lead to sprained legs.
I had heard high roost to accommodate long tails. How large should the coop be? Do they need nesting boxes?

Six foot high is plenty high for trains and to walk under. They dont really NEED nest boxes although they are nice if you collect the eggs and put them in the box the hen might set them. Under the 'Stickies Topics' you will find threads that cover all the basic questions on the care, housing, and feeding of peafowl.
