Good treats for 2 to 4 week old chicks?

I'll try the shredded cheese tomorrow. So far, hard boiled eggs are a DEFINITE FAVORITE; they go NUTS when I come in with a paper plate - they know what is coming! I started feeding the diced egg from the palm of my hand, but now at a month old they HURT when they go for it! LOL! I tried diced apple but that was a thumbs down for my crowd.

Crickets & mealworms

I get crickets from our local bait shop,raise mealies myself.

Probably too hard for chicks, and I personally wouldn't want the chicks to eat too much of that vs. their feed. If you want to try it anyhow, make sure they have access to grit, and limit how long they can access it so that they don't overindulge.
