GOOSE BREEDING THREAD - for breeding, incubating, hatching and rearing.

Have you painted any of their lady parts yet? I'm eager to know whose egg that was! Will you blow the shell or crack it open to check for fertility?

Im planning to swab bottoms this evening, since im expecting the next egg tomorrow. Im dying to know whose it is also. Depending on whose egg this is i will probably blow it out and keep it. Otherwise i will probably check fertility if its not who i think it is.

I havent decided if im going to hatch any this year. If i do i might set some mid March. It all depends on weather and how warm it is. I really havent gotten bit by the gosling bug yet so that might all change drastically lol I am going to make ornaments though. I have picked out colors all ready.
I look forward to seeing the finished egg. They are so pretty.

My first set of eggs has arrived! One has a detached air cell, but the other two seem fine for now. Clap your hands together for me and pray for a happy ending in 31 days! (One day for just sitting still after transit.)
What breed? and will be waiting to see you new babies.

Ok i just got finished swabbing bottoms with food coloring. I had 3 colors that show up good. I did the elimination process. Tonight i did the 3 young heavy breeds, my toulouse pair(im not sure of the genders)Tucker and Tori and Stormy my tufted chinese. Tucker is Red, Tori is Green and Stormy is Blue. If there is an egg tomorrow and no coloring i will move onto the young chinese and mark them. I hope this works!!
