GOOSE BREEDING THREAD - for breeding, incubating, hatching and rearing.

We had one last year on the goose section but the mods kept moving it saying that it needed to be listed under hatch a longs.
Over in the duck thread there is a 2014 Broody duck thread but I guess they may see that different from all you Crazies who put hundreds of goose eggs into a bator and hatch goslings. Boy that was a mouth full

Whew you had me worried I thought since you said you lost them something took them.
No, generally I don´t get problems with the hawks here. I think it´s because of the geese around. The hawks go to all the neighbours´picking up chicks for their youngsters, but I´ve only ever seen hawks in my place once. I´m sure it´s because of the geese. The biggest danger is when the ducks take the babies out of my place down the sream, but they only do that if they have a larger brood. With one or two they stay here where it´s safer.

Just to keep u on a first update brazil and everyone else the eggs are medium sized ill make a pic somehow My fav.county is wexford its the nicest county in ireland the weather is warmest and driest there
Is there any hatchalongs for geese does anyone know?!
Haha, when we wanted to move away from England, we considered Wexford there in Ireland, for all the reasons that you stated..... or Brazil...what a difference, eh? Anyway, Brazil won!

"you crazies?" I hope you include yourself in that, MLyd! We may do it with natural incubators, but the excitement is all the same! Will you get some to let Missy hatch out?
