"you crazies?" I hope you include yourself in that, MLyd! We may do it with natural incubators, but the excitement is all the same! Will you get some to let Missy hatch out?
I'm wanting too. I enjoyed watching Sam be daddy goose I'd love to watch them both parenting.

Missy is not very hygienic when it comes to laying, not like my Muscovy's when she lays her egg she sometimes poops in her nest and yesterday there was poop on one of her eggs, is this normal my Scovy's never poop on their eggs. Everywhere else but not on their eggs.

Could be sleeping on then at night.

Guess who has three DEVELOPING goose eggs in the incubator! YAY!

Although I'm still very pessimistic about them hatching because of the detached air cells, all three of them do have the "red spiders" inside of them (embryo dot with blood vessels extending outwards from it). The temp is great, the humidity is great, and I've been very good about remembering to turn them (okay, okay, it's more like OBSESSIVE). But they are actually developing!

None of them are quite ready for pics yet, but as soon as I can get some good pics of the developing eggs, I'll post them.

My fourth egg i got today was supposed to be the one i was going to check for fertility but when i went to collect it the cold had frozen it and it had burst. Now i have to change the nesting material and wait until Thursdays egg to check it. Oh well its all exciting no matter what happens
