Blue Cayugas!!!!!! Again Goddess you have piqued my interest! I breed Cayugas (Regular and Crested) and have been wanting the Blue and Silver, but didn't know who might have any. See how you are?

Those Fritter air cells are sooooo Gi-normous ~ How is there even a goose inside?Maybe thats why she lays huge eggs

Now mind you...on the Crested Ducks. I don't breed them much. I cringe when I hear about two crested being bred together. I don't do that. If I get some, I get some. I do my best to make sure they do not have any health issues. When I don't have anymore, that's it. I am really careful on anything carrying a lethal allele.

Oh how funny !!! I started the term periwinkle Cayuga years ago! Because I said they were not blue but Periwinkle. Periwinkle being my favorite color as a child I called them that when I 1st started breeding them ~ Holy cow that has caught on?

Was just wondering, im not going to run out and buy one to try it, but what if a drake like yours crossed with a pekin? What colors would hatch? Does dilutes occur in ducks too?

My Brooder babies stayed outside for their 1st night all night last nite and BeeDub, 3 cayugas, and a sebbie girl all did great! It always makes me nervous when they stay their 1st nite, even though I prepare them. I guess thats just the protective gosling momma in me!

Yeah...it did! I will go back and find that. They don't exactly look like your blues though. These look rather splashy, but very pretty.
