My pieds and white goslings got moved to the big brooder house today. I had to have hubby do it for me. The dentist worked for an hour to pull a tooth for me today and i have a bit of trauma to my mouth so was told not to get hot or might start bleeding. Anyways DH did all my chores and im relieved that my babies are safer from predators now. My new babies are now 10 days old and are now big enough i can count them from the house, which i count them about 100 times a day to make sure they are all ok. Im super paranoid about this group too. Specially "Baby Fro" thats my pride and joy ive flashed his pics so much you'd thought it was my own baby lol. I didnt get to set my traps today there is a storm coming and even though coons are terrible and killed my babies i dont like the thought of them being drowned by heavy rain. Thats cruel. So ill work on them tomorrow.

Ruru how are your babies doing? Am i wrong or do you have some sebbies that are a few months old now?

That would be great to see on your property! But I am afraid that you might not have any trees left or grass at all needing 100 pounds of food per day by just one elephant!

100lbs per day? That is what my 5 horses eat in one day.

My second home is the feed store. With 60 birds, 3 dogs and 4 horses im there atleast twice a week. My goat went to live with a herd of girl goats for awhile.

Yes, 8, I have two sets of three my breeding and they have TWT right now and I have to get them tapped. I guess again I gave too much protein when feeding. Boy it takes time to figure out just how much protein they are getting to grow the wings correct.
Then I have the three I got from Celtic they are growing like weeds....
Did not take any pictures of my three yet....

Gorgeous! I really like the buffs. I think the gray sebbies are really pretty when grown. I had a chance to get some gray saddle back sebbie goslings this spring for $45 each they were all smooth breasted. I passed because i had goslings about to hatch and wanted to give my own the attention they needed. Im still kicking myself over that.
