Yeah it's pretty quiet. Could be coincidence but it seems to respond to my voice across the room. I can't wait to meet it!

How incredibly sweet. You are helping to encourage him to come out, what a good mommy! Mother fowl do this with their babies too

Aw thank you. I hope I'm a good mummy. I've never had geese before!
I have just found a 'pip' at the back of the egg. He's trying to sneak out. Lol

I'm so sorry do you have any idea what happened? Your lil one is going to be awfully lonely a non breakable mirror and a stuffed animal will help, but finding another gosling would be best.

Thanks for the advice. "Moose" has a teddy and I am asking around locally. I'm really not sure what happened. They weren't great eggs to start with but they were expensive so I wasn't going to waste them. I did start with 4 but two of them weren't even fertilised.
It was moving around when I candled it right before lock down and had even pipped. Moose gave it a good kicking around so it could have been that.
