GOOSE BREEDING THREAD - for breeding, incubating, hatching and rearing.

Maybe an egg broke inside her? I'm so sorry for your loss. At least you were with her when she passed.
That´s what I wondered.
MLyd, the older ducklings I sold locally, surprisingly, and someone else said they´d been searching for muscovies and hadn´t found any!! And a guy turned up one day wanting a duck so I sold another! So the older 2 are gone, but I have 5 at the mo, incl these 2 tinies. I´ll def keep 2 of them. And I have another duck just started laying again. I may let her hatch a couple, as I really like her mucky green eggs so I´d like to see if the next generation lays the same colour. Mostly I just let them keep one or two eggs, so I have fewer to find homes for, but I can still enjoy them too.

Just to keep u on a first update brazil and everyone else the eggs are medium sized ill make a pic somehow My fav.county is wexford its the nicest county in ireland the weather is warmest and driest there
Is there any hatchalongs for geese does anyone know?!

The big Easter Hatch-a-long includes geese, and has the setting date in the first post of the thread.

Thank you and Iain utah! Put in incubator! Or wait till 2nd egg since first eggs are risky but still try anyway or wait till you have way more

PUT IT IN THE INCUBATOR! LOL!

If it doesn't develop, the second egg will still be ready to go in right about the time you label the first one as a dud.
