Laid this morning, it is the 6th egg laid by a first year Tufted Roman x brown chinese cross. For added info, i have not seen a gander pay attention to her at all and up until yesterday she was loose with 7 ganders

Again, very very hard to tell with the background surface and lighting. My fertile girls tend to lay a richer colored yolk with a very distinct bullseye.... so perhaps it is not fertile?
It is for sure fertile! That's awesome!
Fertility has nothing to do with yolk color, that is dependent on their diet. If you feed more corn, the yolks would be a richer orangey color. But who wants to feed their geese corn!?!
There are other things that will give the same effect, but I can't remember the exact thing that causes it, but I know corn has this property.
