I think since they are mixed it would be hard to say by their knobs, but serv is good at sexing so hopefully he'll have a look at them.

I love telling males from females but the pics are kinda fuzzy but it looks like 2 males and 2 females but can you tell me are 2 of the geese small and 2 larger ?!

DH is picking up a trio of white Chinese geese, possibly one male and two females. I hope it is not three ganders. The woman did say they were not so nice and if he could catch them. He is putting his camper shell on and hopes to drive over there this afternoon. He plans to put them in large boxes. I am a little worried about getting them during the day and I also think they are probably in mating season so double not so nice. We have had a chines white gander before, George, but he was a sweety and it was not breeding season. For now he is at my friend who had three females of other breeds.

Any tips on how to move these birds? DH figured one person on the head/neck and one on the body, watch out for the beak, wings and sharp feet. He figures if they escape the box they will still be in the back of the camper shell.

For those that have Giant Dewlap Toulouse geese.

I met a women that has Sebastapol geese who told me not to get the giant dewlaps because they can break your arm off or something close to that extend. She also seemed to imply they could be rather mean and appeared to convince me to consider Sebastapols or a smaller geese. Any thoughts on this and why she would say that besides being passionate about the breed she has and maybe wanting to sell some to me?

We have researched geese extensively and both DH and I feel most passionate about the Giant Dewlap Toulouse. We plan and have arrangements in place to hatch eggs the end of this month.

2 are a little bit shorter then the other 2 does that count as being smaller and there is 3 that stay together and one of the 3 runs the 4th one off alot hard to catch them all together unless they think i have food or its feeding time i ll see if i can get better pics if the ran would stop and the wind would go away i can get some good pics
