Daisey meadow that gosling looks really nice! i wouldent mind getting one of those! And are you going to hatch babies this year?!![]()
haha, I already have a challenge.....I have 11 7-month-old goslings from an auto-sexing gander and mixed-breed geese, if you remember them, and I´m watching them to see if I can guess what they are. Some have just started the little screech, so funny. I can´t always tell who just did it, it´s like they´re playing a game with me.Brazil ! imagine you having an african goose! you would have a new breed and when it has goslings it will give you a challange to find out the sexes
Yeah, see, cos I know! You caught me!![]()
For those that have Giant Dewlap Toulouse geese.
I might have some White Africans hatching in AprilLets see at the end of the week how they are settled ! I would love to see your baby white africans (i can say that hundreds of times)
Nothing like a week like this to make me feel like an utter and complete farming noob! I swear, I do have some idea what I'm doing. Really, I do.![]()
Well one thing Sebastopols did not appeal to us. No particular reason but they are not on top of mine or DH's list for geese. Both of us are drawn to the Giant Dewlap Toulouse. I just want to be sure I am not getting a breed that is not compatible or dangeroh to my family.
I think I can get to Holderread in less than half an hour of driving. Never been, though. Maybe someday...
I had just milk goats, Rhode Island Reds, cats and bunnies when we lived there. I do not think you can visit Holderread. It is closed to the public
