I have a question...here is the story.
I just hatched 3 mallard ducklings yesterday that had been given to me. So cute.
Today when I checked my female gooses nest I saw a tiny air hole on one of the eggs and at least one egg talked back to me when I talked to them.
Anyway I was hoping the ducklings would be able to grow for a few days and I would be able to put the ducklings with the goslings, for the two parent geese to take care of them as well. I know the size difference will be pretty big, which was why I was hoping the ducklings would have a few days growth before the goslings hatched but looks like they are all going to be within 48 hours of each other. Possibly less time then that.
Any reason I should not put the ducklings with the goslings (after they hatch of course) for the geese to take care of them? When to do so? These are first time parents I am talking about and they are Pilgrims.
