A lesson to be learned by any abusing male ... bird or otherwise...Good for Sophie and at only 6 months.Okay, I would not believe this if my husband and I didn't watch this. The older couple has been separated at night. For a few nights he was by himself but the pens share a wall. The next day he comes out and it's the same thing, he won't let her come over for food.
Today I thought it was odd that I was hearing "growling"- loud. We go out and Sophie (6 months old) has the rotten male by the neck. She was chasing him and nipping him. Hubby then found him hovering in a corner "playing dead". The "don't touch me " male let my husband pick him up and pet him. Now, the tables are turned and she is helping herself to food and water with her 3 others she grew up with. He is now not permitted to look at her or get closer. And no, I don't feel sorry for him.
