Goose can't open its beak

I’m so sorry for your loss and I’m so sorry it was so hard to find anyone to help you, unfortunately this is all to common, I’ve gone through this too. Out of 36 vets in my area only 4 will even see geese and out of those 4 only 1 hasn’t lied to me and tried to rip me off. There aren’t a lot of the old farm vets that saw all and treated all, veterinary medicine is now an industry that’s increasingly impersonal and crooked from what I’ve expierience in the last 15 years.

The important thing is that you tried to get your goose well, you cared for him and he knew he was cared for.

If it helps you in future antibiotics often are sold under different names, Enrofloxacin is also called Cipro or Baytril. Here in California I can’t get ahold of it or anything else without a prescription but Miss Lydia was kind enough to show me not so long ago that if it’s bought for “fish” one doesn’t need a prescription. https://www.countrysidepet.com/products/fish-aid-ciprofloxacin-500mg?variant=32071495778393
