The biggest pip is bigger and if I lean over at the right angle I can see the tiny tip of a beak. The second pip is just a bigger crack not a hole to see anything in yet. The other two I can't see anything at all but they could very well be pipped on the side where I can't see.

Today is another hurry up and wait day.

The eggs are on Day 30.

What color are embdens when they hatch?

This chick is VERY dark grey from what I can see in the big hole in the shell. Not silvery grey but dark blackish grey.

Would this mean my embden egg is really a toulouse egg?

You have to remember its still wet and will lighten up when dry.....I'm not sure of coloring on breeds of geese when they hatch out....

Were the eggs marked as to what goose egg it was?...

For sure your going to have geese today!!....
