just a tip for patching pools. if you have rips or cracks pop a round hole at the end of the crack to prevent it from getting bigger. a paper punch size is perfect. secondly I use silicone & plastic coffee can lids. if you cut the ring off that clings to the can its the perfect patch for hard plastic pools. clean the area very well and then set up to dry. after its dry install the patch on the outside of the pool where the bird can't pick at it. use a pile of bricks or a large block of wood to hold patch for 24-48 hours till cured.
one tip for thick plastic is to use a hot punch or screw driver. if you poke through the plastic it will make a ridge and reenforce the end of the crack when you make the hole to stop it.
