Shellie make sure not to over push yourself in doing things and chores around the place...... It can sometimes catch up with you and knock you on you butt.

I just spent 4 days down for the count with my back.

Had to have the "critter sitter" daughter come out to take care of the critters and cook for Jerry.

Gotta love a 26 year old that volenteers to "rescue" Mom.

Today is the big final shipping day! I am excited and sad at the same time. There are a couple in the group that I am pretty attached to (especially Susan's youngest grey girl and Shellie's adult grey gander) that will be hard to say goodbye to, but I am happy for the adopters and geese.... and know this is for the best.

The rescue mission is almost finished.... and once these last geese have arrived safely in their new homes, will be a complete success!!

to all who helped make this possible!

Congratulations!! Though I wasn't a part of this goose story, I still share feelings of excitement with you - thank you for allowing us to tag along. And to the adopters, thank you for providing us with updates, I truly enjoy reading how the lives of these geese have improved.
Iain, when the mission is finally complete, will you be changing the name of the thread to THE EPIC TALE OF THE GREAT GOOSE RESCUE ?!

Thanks! I also look forward to everyone sharing updates and pics.

Sue, happy to share in my excitement about Patience. The vet will be here this week to do a rectal ultrasound to confirm all is well with her baby.

Bhonkers, that is an excellent idea. I will change the name after the last of the dewlaps make it to their homes safely.

Krafty and Lightning, your geese are on their way!

for their safe arrival!!!!!!!

Sadly, Celtic was not able to coordinate things on her end to receive her trio of adults, so they are now with my group until I can ship them out... hopefully in 2 weeks!
