I did finally get some much needed sleep last night, thanks. But I am still very emotional, so I am thinking it will take a few good night's sleep to get back on an even keel.

As for the cruel handling of the birds by the workers... It brings me to tears to talk about it. In fact, I have turned into a total cry baby these last couple of days (which is very unlike me). I should be getting a report from the vet any minute now about the two with spinal injuries. I also have a call in to my vet about the blind juvenile dewlap and am on standby to take him in.

Now for some great news... I have my first adopter coming out today at 3:30pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ones I had to leave behind are in really bad shape!! Someone please help them!!!!!! If I could, I'd go myself for a 2nd trip, but I am feeling incredibly overwhelmed at the moment.

Which craigslist is she advertising on? i looked on the SF Bay one, which includes areas south of San Jose, but couldn't find an ad. i would like to refer to it on my Facebook account and also send to people i know who might be able to take some of the animals.

This is an incredible story! I have been following since your first post and am simply amazed at what you and your husband have been able to accomplish for these wonderful geese. It breaks my heart to know there are others still in such need of assistance, but rejoice for those you have helped.
