YAY! Glad they made it safely!! Marty's trio is also waiting at her post office. Unfortunately they will have to wait until she gets off work at 1pm to be picked up, but I'm sure they will be fine.

doing good, just came in again from checking on everyone. Freshened their buckets and pools, put out a food pan that they had no interest in. Banded and checked genders to discover we have 5 girls. Even the biggest who rode in a box solo, definitely a goose, no penis anywhere in sight and checked it three times.

super sweet, all very easy to handle and band and vent sex. Super quiet too just like the four pack. All girls totally changes things for us though for 2013, housing and set up.

I hope you are pleased with them!! I will be quite shocked if all are female, since I know two were marked as boys and at least one certainly acted ganderish at my place. I did, however, believe the "pick of the group" was a female.

not a gander in that group, not even the big one you thought was a gander. Double check each, and triple check the biggest. They are very sweet, but as I said really changes plans here. Will build a house they can go out of into the pasture from and away from the breeding yards. We have 8 girls now between the 4 pack and the new 5 pack. They should enjoy the rear pasture though as we reseed it over the winter.

Hubby loves them, but agrees it changes housing and set ups for next year. All the extra girls will be pasture only birds
