They are so pretty. I love my geese but I wish I would have gotten some toulouse instead. I just love the coloring.

I love my dewlap toulouse. I'm so glad Iain and Celtic talked me into hatching togather with them (or trying too, as it worked out).

For that alone, I shall forever call them both friend.

My babies (like Iains) are definately very pet-like. They are gentle and intelligent. They run up to my car whenever I get home, and talk to me (or fuss at me) depending on circumstance. In fact, Iain or Celtic has had something to do with every single goose I own except one single white sebbie.

In goose rescue news land.... I got an email from the state vet today informing me he has my npip number and shipping log. He has asked that I come to his office next week to pick up the form book for shipping birds so he can show me how to use it properly. Kind of ironic since the last of the rescue group departs for their homes on Monday.

Krafty & Lightning, I am planning to ship your birds out this Monday, as planned. Please let me know you are on standby to receive them!

Celtic, we will talk before Monday about weighing birds, if we will be shipping 3 or 4 adults to you, and what the final shipping total will be.

Once these guys arrive safely, the rescue mission will be officially completed!
