This is how we are going to cut our rafter tails
We don’t want them below the window so we squared off the window header to determine the length

We square of this mark and transfer the line to the rafters at each end of the building

But a nail on each end rafter and snap a line across all of them

Use a level and set your bevel square to the angle, mark all the rafters using the bevel square

and then cut them

Later on a 2X6 fascia will be installed make sure to square down off the rafters so your sheeting will plain off this board.

Yep...the big pile stuff I cutted up for fire wood burnings, the next pile is my selected building material, the pile stacked up between the trees is cedra kinjin...(ceder kindeling) and the last pile is 4 x4 I have no idea what am going to do with. Some it came from a job site some from the fat dead guys house and some from the nutty niebor lady But I am running out quick, I wonder if I can borrow some off the neighbors house?
