Gosling dying in my hands

I have 5 eggs in the incubator now, and I'm new to geese. Should get some drench to have on hand when they hatch or just start with vitamin packs in their water? It's only day 7 in the in the incubator and I'm already getting worried!:/
I will tell you right now preventative maintenance is key. I would start getting everything you need. nutri drench, bedding of different types, two waterers two feeders, brooder lamp, back-up bulb, vitamin packs, look at feed carefully geese need less protein. 20% max. The only other cases I have seen its been the feed, I used purina start and grow crumbles will never use again first hatch used dumor had no issues. I'm mixing in the purina into my adult flocks food carefully so I don't waste it. With geese im finding they need to forage to be healthy when its warm put them outside in a safe pen with food and water they will instinctively graze you will be supprised how little of the store bought food they will eat. I think my problem was I didn't graze them at all. it wasn't until she got sick that I started doing the research and found that out. but they r pretty easy going animals if you keep them healthy from the start. Just be prepared you will be fine

vet is def an option but no vet in my area has experience except emergency vet. unfortunately I can not justify $250+ for the evaluation. called a large animal vet that. he says that he would suggest doing what I am doing. her poop is no longer runny it is more like solid I guess so im hoping that is a good thing dunno. I am now feeding her salad greens like kale and chard and lettuce. plus im going to try poly vi sol tonight when I get home
Can you post a picture of her poop?

I only own three geese, so I actually don't know much about their nutritional requirements, but what I just read says their niacin requirements are very high, higher than ducks I think. If you're feeding chick starter it probably doesn't have early enough niacin, and might not have enough of other vitamins and minerals.

Thanks! I have had geese in the past but they were 6 wks old when I got them. So the hatching and brooding I'm new to, and I think that's the hardest part. Once they're up n running and past the newborn stage we should be good. Should......Lol
Keep the advice coming please, ill need all can I get. ;)

I always recommend reading any links Kathy (casportpony) posts, she is the ultimate researcher... and for hands on experience raising goslings, Pyxis is my go to... she has been breeding and raising geese for quite a while now...
